Guardian Productions is run by Allen "Big Al" Merrill and Trey Merrill out of Morganton, North Carolina. For more than twenty years, we've provided live sound engineering, staging, and lighting for concerts, outdoor festivals, dirt track speedways, and community events across the region.
"A good live mix isn't about being as loud as possible. It's about clarity, balance, and making sure the crowd hears every word while the musicians on stage get exactly what they need in their monitors."
We believe that good live sound comes down to preparation, dependable gear, and taking pride in what you do.
Guardian Productions was started right here in Burke County. Whether we're setting up for an outdoor festival crowd, a Saturday night race, a church gathering, or an opening slot for acts like George Jones, Confederate Railroad, and the Bellamy Brothers, we bring the same focus and attention to detail.
Musicians appreciate working with Big Al because he works with them during sound check to get things right. The stage monitors are dialed in clean so vocalists don't blow their voices out, and front-of-house is balanced so every instrument has its own clear space in the mix.
We invest in dependable, heavy-duty gear designed to deliver clean sound across any venue, indoors or out.
Words from artists, festival directors, and venue managers we've had the opportunity to work with over the years.
A few photos from stages we've built, events we've managed, and artists we've mixed over the years.
A roster of artists we've had the pleasure of mixing, from national touring names to regional favorites.
Whether you need a full concert sound rig, stage decks with weather roofs, or want to discuss what your venue requires, feel free to get in touch.
